Tafsir al-Mizan, Volume 19
Tafsir al-Mizan, Volume 19
This volume features Allamah Tabatabai's commentary on the entire Surah Yunus and the first section of Surah Hud. In Surah Yunus, the Qur'an draws on a range of devices to convey its message, and particularly the use of narrative. The tone of this chapter is highly dialectical and throughout, God returns time and again to the issue of revelation of the Qur'an. Once again, this volume showcases Allamah's amazing style of interweaving detailed, pinpointed theological and philosophical ruminations.
